Sand... bought them 3-4 months ago. But then again, these are really first ones I've had.
Guess I was expecting since fresh cigar that it would be at its "fullest/strongest" before aging.... I liked them, I'm gonna wait about 5-6 months and try again, then another 6 months and try again. But thats what I do with every box of sticks anyway to get an idea of how they do aging.

Smart. These are fresh cigars, they need downtime just like any cigar, but usually when you get one from a vendor they have months on them already. So they will will age like others, but they will also go sick, and that’s when you need to leave them alone for a few months. I’m sure you know all of this though.

I've been buying cigars from Johnny O' since the beginning of CF and Wade's. If I had to guess, I'd say I've bought in excess of 500 cigars from him. Bottom line on his cigars -- they are absolutely legit. Period. As far as where they are from, from day one, deal one, he has been nothing but open, honest, and transparent as to where his cigars come from. While he doesn't put the details in every post, ask him, and I would think he will tell you, because every time I've asked, he's answered, and every time, again, he's been open and honest -- clear, concise, and to the point. Period. He'll tell you if they are ready to be smoked now, how long they'll be good for before you have to put them away, etc.
I've smoked some right away, but the majority I've put away, and they age incredibly well. I smoke one every six months to a year to see how they are developing, and they develop incredibly well. I am smoking some from ten years ago and they are excellent. I have no problem recommending him.

Re: Johnny-O Sticks
quality product from an excellent provider, I have had very good service and communication from John.
I bought from John before he offered the EL cigars, and I have bought a fair amount of these as well.
If only I had bought more of all of them years ago..........
for me John's cigars hit their stride around 15 to 18 months of age.

BTW, I've bought all of his different offerings -- the EL's, the WF's, the LC's, and the TTT's.
