At what point is someone going to post the whole backstory? The bickering back and forth like school girls is getting a little old. Someone post the whole story, and then the readers can decide for themselves what's going down.

Chris (JxBr) is a ripoff artist?  News to me.  The JxBr I know is a generous guy who'd give you the shirt off of his back.  I can count several times he helped me out without asking anything in return.  Chris is just an honest, cool guy.

But I guess it shouldn't surprise me that the only people who have a problem with Chris are from BOTL.  If you like locked/deleted threads, and getting banned for commenting on gougers, then that's the place for you.  Over-moderation at its finest!  I love how they call it "Brothers" of the Leaf.  Taking advantage of others, and banning people for trying to protect newbies who don't know any better, sure doesn't sound very "brotherly" to me.

Now, does this Vegan person have some Franks for sale?  I guess I'll send him a PM.

So I have stayed away from this until this post. What is really funny about it is that the quoted part above is exactly what Vegan did, he almost got banned for commenting on a sale from JxBr.

The problem I have with this whole thread is that both Vegan and the opposing point of views are correct (not the thief part, just the gouging), it just depends on which window you are looking out......

Here is exactly what happened:

JxBr posted a sale thread of some mighty fine sticks. One happened to be a sealed cab of rare htf sticks.....The same sticks could have been purchased individually from cigarsdirect.com for 1/2 of what JxBr was asking. Mind you they were singles, not a sealed cab of 50, and not from a source I would purchase from....

So, looking out Vegan's window he thought the price was to high because of the link posted to cigarsdirect. The problem is that he also posted that in the sale thread the JxBr had started. That was in direct violation of almost every cigar forum I know, take it to PM....

Looking out JxBr's window, it was a prized, HTF box of well sought after cigars that were worth what he was asking. An the nerve of someone posting in his sale thread comments about the price, since after all that is against the rules and not very brotherly....

It went back and forth and JxBr took the amicable road, politely pulled his sale, and parted ways with BOTL.....

Then we come here, when JxBr posted the instructions to PM Vegan for the Franks. Now with no history between the two this would have been a funny thing right......but given the history, it was not taken as such......

Basically, lets all chill.....JxBr is a fine BOTL who is well respected both here and CF. Vegan is a fine BOTL as well and was just trying to do what he thought was right. History was not on his side however.....

For the record I do not defend either person....I am not taking sides...I respect the hell out of JxBr and Vegan.....If we can just get past this piddly shit and get back to being brothers life would be so much better.....
