Oh no!!!
SO sorry to this news. We were supposed to hook up about a year or so ago and it didn't happen. I should have MADE it happen. I'm sick with regret that I didn't see him one last time.
Harris was the biggest tough guy teddy bear on the board and a wonderful friend.
Craney's post below brought a tear to my eye. I couldn't have said it better......
Harris @cigrmaster passed in his sleep Tuesday Night. As many know, his health has been declining for some time. However, he was doing well when I saw him last about six weeks ago and his passing was sudden and unexpected. Harris leaves behind 4 really fabulous children and countless friends.
I've known Harris for 25 years. Oh the stories that could be told. Harris was larger than life, time spent hanging out was almost always epic. Harris was a big man physically with a huge heart, personality and presence. He loved his children dearly and was a very good father. Harris was highly intelligent and a shrewd businessman. If you were a friend, you could count on Harris having your back.
I will miss my good friend Harris and pray for the Good Lord to bless his soul and comfort his family at this time. Harris was only 65, we all should take a moment and consider there are no guaranteed tomorrows.

Just thinking about old times and correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t it EZ-Dad who wanted to send Harris smoked cigar nubs so he could authenticate if the cigars were Cuban or not?
Great times!

Yes, he thought a Don Carlos Belicosos was fake. The other classics were when he had claimed some random guy vaguely looked like Wayne Gretsky he took a photo of on the streets of NY, and then questioned a photo of a uniformed soldier smoking a cigar in the mountains in Afghanistan as to if he photoshopped himself there. You can't make that stuff up.

Long Time CFer but I fell off the board years ago. I still recognize some names here and there and sad to hear the site is gone. I used to travel a lot for work so it was always fun to post about which city I was headed to and surely always a few guys would message me and we'd get together and smoke cigars for a night. Glad to be here and read all this interesting discussions lol. Cheers.
“Smoking cigars is like falling in love. First, you are attracted by its shape; you stay for its flavor, and you must always remember never, never to let the flame go out!"
