I highly recommend "The Giver" posts a thread topic here on OLH along the lines of "Post something that cracks you up!"

I never registered at CF but I checked in every couple of days or so just to see that thread and Laughed my ass off! Ridge was your sidecar.

Travis-if you did decide to post I believe you would be doing a great favor for the OLH community and we would all be grateful!

I kinda feel sorry for CFL, must be tough being on the receiving end of that ~alleged~ giant strap on his wife uses, but I guess he likes it, not surprising.

How hard would it be to get another similar forum up? Nothing against this place, but it’s a clunky platform, though inhabited by good folk.

Finally got back on here don’t understand what happened but got booted somehow and then didn’t get log in Fred’s til this week. I have missed you all.
That said to set up a site like CF is expensive to do, the family pulled the plug on it from what I have been, there was a lot of negative stuff being posted which they did not care for. It’s not looking good for a reopening, I suggested a read only but nothing has changed. I miss the people I saw there regularly and the fun that we had.

Unfortunately, they have no reason to reopen the site since they have Facebook and other groups that promote their product. It's a shame that the site wasn't archived better in the Wayback machine but that is the way it goes.
