Do you feel that the particular factory a cigar was rolled in makes a real difference?
I have never really paid attention to the factory codes on anything I have ever smoked.

Absolutely. Just using recent Trinidads for examples, the ASR coded boxes were far and away much better than the MUP and RAG. I smoke the Reyes and Coloniales and its like day and night. ASR is now BSM

[/quote]Interesting.
This is what I'm seeing in the responses across the several forums I posted this question.
Will have to start noting and paying attention to the codes and see if I can notice a difference.
Not sure if I can ask for specific years or factory codes with my regular vendor. Will have to ask them on Monday.
Just got some 2020 TLU Coloniales. Any thoughts on that factory code for Trinidad?

Re: Factory codes
I know it's cliche but to me anything rolled at Laguito always seems to have better construction...

Based on dates and what's being rolled there, MTS looks to be MOL which rolled some great sticks from Cohiba Lanceros and Esplendidos to Sir Winnies. FOH had MTS Winnies and Esplendidos last night.

Re: Factory codes
It's ARS not ASR. '19 RAG Trinidad (fundies, la trova, coloniales) are smoking *very* well.
