I know it's not much help, but I have the eero mesh WiFi system and it's worth every penny. Highly recommend!

Agreed. I have the eero Pro Mesh 5 second gen (3 eeros) and its probably overkill but it works great. The real test will be once summer comes and if I can watch tv/movies on the patio with a cigar. I get 100% signal in the driveway, so the patio should be the same. Installing was a breeze and the app works great.

It depends on what you need. I preferred the Orbi so I can have more things hardwired to the network which the erro supports less of.
what matters is what you "need" The orbit comes standard with 3 satellites, so if you have a smaller area of coverage it can be overkill. But for me in a 2500 sqfoot house I get full signal from the front of my yard and the back of my yard with the standard orbi setup.
Netgear includes a full web interface with a standard set of network settings and features (QoS, Dynamic DNS, VPN server, and so on.) It also has an optional mobile app. while Erro has no web interface so if the network is down you can't manage anything which shouldn't be a big deal per se.
Ive always been a Fan of Netgear in general so maybe im biased but for me I needed the extra Ethernet ports, and I like the ability to access all the settings locally on a web browser. I will also say that if you decide to get a Orbi, its a bit more future proof on the network speeds it can handle since it can handle over a gig of speed and cover a larger area. Just make sure you also pair it with a good router or your going to have a Mustang v6 vs a Mustang GT
