PP FF Doesn't Show Up On App Or Website

I used Pay Pal  last week for a box. No matter what I did, website, App, reload the page and app. and restart the phone or desktop, after I populates the $ amount field and pressed next I got a screen that was asking about purchase protection. I should have taken a screen shot.... Anyway, after a few days the screen showed, after pushing next after populating the $ amount field,  the option button that showed the FF selection. Anyone else have this problem?

I've had this issue when I've made multiple PPFF purchases within a couple days.

I believe you can also only use FF if you have $ in your pp account and not using an attached cc.
Not sure if that comes into play for you or not.

Politely disagree.  I've never had even one cent in my pp account, always use the linked credit card.  And while I generally do not use the FF option, I have in the past.

I send dough around from outside accounts etc and sometimes within. If it is a new contact, they ask if it is F&F. One thing I can tell you is if you are a customer in good standing you can phone customer service and ask without worry. Just keep any cigar stuff out of it like we all do.

Have done this a few times and they are very helpful. I have been a customer for years, even before cigars.

I never pay with F&F even on request. If a seller requests F&F, I pay the fees. If they are troubled by this, then you don't need to deal with them anyway.

For me, I can ONLY use the F&F option without any fees to myself, if I transfer money from a linked bank account.  I can pay using a linked CC, but I do get charged fees (like 2.5% plus 0.35 or something to that effect).  If you don't pay from a linked bank account, I do not think there is any means of avoiding the PP service fees.

Same.  I'd much rather pay the fee to ensure some measure of consumer protection on my purchase.  FF option has none of that.

There are quite a few very honorable people on here that I use FF all the time without hesitation.
