I don't know how many of you rememer that this was actually DannyMs URL until I got it in 2000.

These days I'm still a member over on CF but I visit about once or twice a yr.

I wasn't there for the thumb incident, but I have heard versions of the story.  That was the CFC before I really started participating on the boards.

CA bred the worst. HCF and it's leaders including the infamous Ligero1 who eventually gott banned and came back with another email address.We had the whole issue with the guy who sold the fake Trinidads and Cohibas-convinced people that he had a direct link to Cuba and sold the stuff from California.  Thing was that the guy was smart- he took actual Trinidad Robusto Extras and added the palm tree band and sold a $10 cigar for $40 (40th anniversary humidor). People bought them and thought they were legit because they were actual Trinidads.  Place was a cess-pool.

Even I remember that palm tree band on the cigars. Fellow’s name was like Triple Ligero or something like that? Then anyone with similar name had such a curse as if they did anything wrong. That sucked.

Before jumping into CF in 97, I was at CA and cigargroup.com (ICG).  ICG was better than CA from a quality member perspective. This site went through a couple of evolutions.  First if was this odd good trader member listing sitting behind one of dannym's domains, then migrated to more of a single forum format, and then to this.
