EL Siglo V from Johnny

Post by Sandman »

I felt inclined to write a review about this recent purchase because they are damn good. Just received a fresh shipment of Siglo V’s and CoRos On Friday. Opened up the bag, smells like a fresh cab of Cohiba. Picked a nice Sig V out, lit one up. Now it’s Sunday and I’m on my fifth one so far. Other than CoRo, Sig V’s are my most smoked Cohiba so I’ve got a pretty good handle on what Sig V’s taste like. These are unquestionably Sig V’s.

These are very good, which is saying a lot considering how fresh they are. Right off the bat, that familiar vanilla, fresh cut grass, and fresh cream, and coffee. The flavors are intense. Intense like the flavors on the La Reina are. I have nubbed every one that I smoked so far. I smoke slow, but amazingly I can puff faster and a little harder than I normally do, and the flavors aren’t going south. Not getting any harshness at all. Medium strength, full flavor, great flavors and a great progression throughout. I wouldn’t be posting a review of these if they weren’t smoking so damn good, and wouldn’t be a posting without already going deep on these.  ;)

Thanks John, between the recent BHK 58’s, Grand Churchill’s, CoRos, and these, it’s tough to decide what I want to smoke. Good problem to have.

Prototype samplers of the Behike 58 were smoked at the importers meeting in June.

My first order should arrive tomorrow. From the sounds of this review I will probably be going deep on these as well. Love coro's and sig's 3-5

Awesome sticks and over the top flavor.

I dry box the ones I anticipate smoking for the week, the rest are in a cigar cooler at 70 degrees, 65% humidity.
Big problem for me not keeping my hands off them........ :cal: :cal: :cal:
