This month I've purchased 2 bundles of the EL Siglo V's from Johnny-O.They are outstanding.Full of flavor & complexity.Top notch construction.
An hour or so of pure enjoyment. The EL cigars I've purchased from John in the past year, have also been fabulous.

Those Sig V’s are outstanding. I’ve smoked almost a bundle, and nubbed most of then. Highly recommend them.

Ive had 2 of these since November...they are beautiful to look at and the construction is stellar...but honestly the taste has not been good...AT ALL.  Small sample size so hoping the rest of my bundle will turn around...definitely outside the norm for the EL line from JO...which have all been consistently outstanding. The ones I have gotten have been awesome.

Lay them down for awhile but keep about three to five out and dry box them for a few weeks.
The wrappers on the dry boxed ones seemed to become very uniform and great in color.

I then smoked the dry boxed ones and they smoked great. Nice even burn and great flavor.
I basically do this because I can't keep my hands off them......lol!

So,my feeling and opinion is the ones laid away will only get better with some time.
I really do not believe in aging for a very long time as I think it is a crap shoot.
Recently, I purchased a small sampler that were around 15 years old. To be totally honest,
I thought they all tasted like crap and did not reflect the profile of the different brands whatsoever.

I'm sure there are a lot that will age very well with a lot of time but what ones, and if you
do not have them, you are going to pay a hefty price for them.

Also, I think the better scenario are the years they are produced and how good the crop of tobacco
was in those years. I have seen many posts of certain cigars from certain years and how awesome they
were. So, my intentions if affordable is to try and acquire cigars from those years raved about.

Just my opinion and enjoy your smokes and hopefully nub them!!!
