Greatest deals you ever got from online sources
Been buying cc’s for over 10 years and think back of a ton of great deals I’ve gotten over the years. Curious what others in here have scored through the years from online sources.
Some of my best scores
Upmann sir winstons for $220 from puro express back in 2011
JL cab of 50 for $230 from 1001 Cuban cigars
Hoyo des dioux 2 boxes for $80 1998 box’s
Upmann mag 50 EL $306
Partagas serie d4 for $135

Re: Greatest deals you ever got from online sources
Those were the days. I remember pricing like that too but I never did order from 1001. They're CT now right? I regret not buying all those punch and hoyo biggies. Most were plugged but when you got a good one it sure was good! I bought a handful of fivers here at a premium (because they were aged!).
My first online order came from a shop in France back when dial-up was the best you could get. I don't remember exactly what I paid for the box but I still have it somewhere. I remember I was just fine paying it though when I compared the price to the brick and mortar.
I can remember 10 years ago (almost to the day) ordering 10 boxes of partagas mille fleurs for 66 bucks a box. And not long after that getting 12 boxes out of Germany somewhere of a long discontinued machine made perfecto called cabanas for 25 bucks a box. They were total pieces of shit too. Until you got an inch in and they tasted very very nice. Wish I had bought every box they had.
Oh the olden days!

That huge seizure in 2012 I believe took out 1001, but they had the greatest deals around...

They were also selling fakes so good riddance. If they are really CT now then I am exceedingly happy to never have bought from them - and never will.

Ordered from CT a couple times, but they're kind of smarmy. Every order was followed by an email asking me to rate them highly online (not just leave a review of their shop, but they asked me to give them the highest ratings possible). They also had this deal where if you wrote a review on their website and they accepted it, they'd give you a few reward points. After reviewing about 5 cigars following different purchases (very positive reviews at that), I received a very terse email telling me they weren't going to honor the points thing because I had left more than "a couple" reviews. I asked if there was some sort of limit and they reiterated I would not be given reward points.
Anyway, that's more of a shop review. The best deal I can recall is those PLMC boxes for less than $75. It was going on up until the last few months and I bought stacks of them at that price. They're up around $100 now, which still isn't bad at all, but at less than $3 per, I wore it out and have different vintages to age for a long, long time.

I really like the plmc too. Wish I had saw that deal!
I had heard that about 1001 too from a few people but I never ordered from them. I heard something too about people getting their cards hijacked. It's my understanding that they are CT now. (from what I have been told)

My memory stinks so im sure I scored some much better deals way back when puro was the low cost leader...but just 4 or 5 years ago I remember grabbing Cohiba Pyramid Extra 10cts for 160 bucks...think it was COH

Not sure who CT is....
But the 1001 website I believe was taken over by Lou's.

Back in that period I ordered bunches of Punch Churchills and Double Coronas from 1001. Paid like $140-150/box. All were from 1999-2001, as noted above, many were plugged. The best deal, though, was on SCDLH La Fuerza for something like $140. These were beautiful, and cheap.

I got a box of Lusis from 1001 back in 2009 for $195 that smoked and is smoking very well. That was a damn good deal, especially compared to prices now.
