Help with value on these

Post by Puffarn »

So,

I "found" this box in my humidor. I bought this 2007(i think) from a member of the cigar family forum.
I'm thinking of selling this again but have no idea on what to ask for it. I know you might find some singels but a complete box like this will be very hard to track down.

It would be best to ask some of the older CF members for pricing on these (probably at CF)... I have been here a long time and never saw a box of these pop up.

Some of those CF guys check in here on occasion but not too often anymore, unless they are hunting something specific.

Good luck with your sale.

You might be able to get $100. Maybe even $150.

The cigars sucked.

I believe they were free.  It was the thought that counted....

I remember when these came out, I was absent from school that day and missed out.

They are collectors items pure and simple.  Those who smoked the cigars were almost unanimous in the assessment that they were mild and flavorless.  10 years cannot have made them better.  I think VV is correct that they were free.

One of the knuckleheads on one of the Fuente worship FB pages who seem to have more money than brains would likely give you something for them but they don't know what they are so the price can't be to high.  If I may be so bold since these were a gift in the CF spirit.  The "CF" thing to do is offer them up in the TR over there in a blind trade.  Ask for something you like to smoke and I'm pretty sure one of the collectors over there would send you something nice in return.  Unfortunately for selling, those cigars only mean something to a select group of folks.

They were free and also terrible as VV and FF stayed.

FWIW, the OP didn't get off to a great start here, his one and only feedback is pretty bad--poor packaging, poor communications, and then no follow-up after he screwed the pooch on an expensive box of cigars.  Good luck finding anyone to give you anything for them here (based on this info) and with your trading history.
