I see. So it's only the secret club for which he will say, "All my Cigars are Cuban puros." Makes sense. Undoubtedly due to the Mysterious Forces.

Not defending JO, and not asserting anything about his full line, but when he claims that X cigar is from El Laguito’s back door, he is indeed claiming 100% Cuban tobacco content.

Hutch I would be inclined to agree with you on this IF such a statement had actually been made by him.
Now, can you point me to a quote, anywhere, that he has directly stated that any of his cigars were rolled at El Laguito?
Not "implications," mind you. And not "hints" like vaguely calling something "EL."
A direct statement: "These cigars were rolled at El Laguito." Can you point us to that? Because I've looked. And looked. And looked. I have never seen such a statement. Ever.
OTOH, the internet is a big place . . .

My OPINION is as irrelevant as anyone else's. I'm talking about facts here. Facts.
Sweet offer though, thanks. *hat tip*

how is it irrelevant? you smoke cuban cigars right? then your opinion on what is purported to be a cuban cigar is actually very relevant...Im not talking about an epiphany or some sort of concrete conclusion...Im talking about lighting up a cigar and going "hoddamn this is a flavor bomb"...thats really all man...rest of the shit doesnt need to be so serious...

Look, if someone wants to claim that JO's cigars TASTE LIKE Cuban puros, that's fine. People do it all the time. Hell you can call them the greatest thing since sliced bread.
I have never said a peep about any of that. Ever.
But to say or imply that they ARE IN FACT Cuban puros, that's an entirely different animal. And I won't let that go unchecked, for the reasons I previously stated.
