Questions about Johnny O cigars

Post by Amata868 »

Ive been trying to get a hold of him to get some answers but it didnt go as planned....

Anyway, I buy these for my husband and like to surprise him with some here and there. What I was wondering is does anyone know about JOs lines and the blends? Does all the WF taste the same, just have different vitolas? I know some can taste little different than the next but generally speaking? What about the LC line up?

Lastly on his EL line, if its named say Majestuosos , is it supposed to taste like the Cohiba cigar? Or say the Vigia, is that supposed to mimic the Trinidad Vigia? I guess that is how it should work, but thought Id ask.

Thanks to all!

Please elaborate. I've found John to be nothing but responsive and upfront in the 3+ years I've been dealing with him.

Short answer to your question, just as with regular production cigars, it all depends on the tobacco available and the conditions which contribute to the uniqueness of each vintage.

I'm not going to lie, but I was asking many questions but I was trying to learn what's what. And who better to ask than the man himself?

But I though the cigars labeled a EL were supposed to be off the bench cigars from EL factory, right?

So the WF series is pretty much the same but can vary based on certain conditions that the leaf was grown in and or during
