I have no problem with a mark up but when you go through the list on TSBC and 90% of them are gouging it kills this place for me. I guess we need to have a site where people aren't supplementing their income by selling cigars but I guess that is just a wish

In agreement with Hutch.

I will also add that one should treat the adds here like a used car lot.  The price is usually the ASKING PRICE.  If you see something you really want then message the seller for pics and then with an offer you can live with and what you feel is reasonably fair to the seller.

Also, as a buyer one must remember that no matter how bad you may want a 56 Mercedes Gullwing if you cant afford a 56 Mercedes Gullwing then..well.. you can't afford a 56 Mercedes Gullwing!!

Staggs..the land of no gauretees, lost boxes and high prices.

I've come to believe that "Loren" is a myth.

Years ago I had and incident where they were charging my CC account about every three months without me having placed an order.

Steer clear. IMO

I’ve had one lost order from the ladies in ~4 or so years. Some people have better luck then others. Always been a good vendor to me!

It’s typically a pretty simple process here....if it’s priced to high it doesn’t sell. I’ve listed certain things higher then others because if they sell at my asking or close to it then so be it. 2 year old boxes of psd4s don’t get crazy mark ups imo....8-12 year old Cohibas get priced differently. I’ve also noticed everyone wants the “bolt” price when trying to buy but when certain people are selling that mythical price gets tossed aside.

At the end of the day they’re just cigars. If buyer and seller are both happy that’s really all that matters. We’ve all got deals and we’ve all over paid for something. Life goes on

It's called arbitrage gents. Price differential between duty free and UK prices.

lol.  They're not a gray market vendor...  many good vendors don't guarantee.  Some people don't want to deal with non-guaranteed... leaves more cigars for those of us that are fine with it.  They were great when the Pound took a pounding, but with raised prices and the Pound back to where it was, not so much anymore except for the occasional HTF stuff.

What would the standard price amount per year to add to a box cc for just holding them?
example: box bought for 150$ and put to market say 4 yrs later..........?
Is there a standard? or just some think their storage facility is better than others?
[/quote]

any standard is a myth, invented on forums and by Brothers Of The Leaf( BOTL = watch your back!!!) total bullsxit - a figment of gougers's imagination

anyone trying to imply that there is a formula to aged/vintage cigars are trying to steal them and re-sell at multiples - be real

the market is what it is - all the complainers are just middle man - real gougers - watch out for those!

If you see anyone going down in price in any F/S adds = think again - those are ????

"kool aid" has no boundaries
