PSA about Behikes, ESPYs, LGC RE, HU Mag54, and some custom rolls

Be cautious of purchasing anything of the smokes in the title of this thread.  There were several boxes of fakes sold in the Cuban FB sales forums, and it was later found that these were fake.  Most were Behikes.  They are really good fakes, seals, boxes, bands, etc all look perfect.  Pictures of the items gave no indication that they were fake.  The only thing that stood out was a few people compared HSA seal tracking codes and the same numbers were used on several boxes.  This is a renewed/updated warning, as the other thread is about halfway down the BZ page.  It was speculated by several that some of these would eventually start showing up here after the holidays. 

I am not involved in this deal, and I lost no money, I am just relaying info for people's personal protection.  I don't like to bring things from other forums, but I also don't want to see anyone get taken here either.  So, be very cautious when buying any of the following, which were all apparently involved:

Custom Roll Bundles (come wrapped in Honduran newspaper)

What I'm curious about is how exactly did people figure out the cigars listed above were fakies? Did that entirely hinge on the barcodes? Or were cigars smoked that were obvious fakes?

I don't spacebook, so have no clue about the details, other than it sounded like an elaborate scheme involving numerous people and several boxes.

I can't confirm for sure what the triggers were for everything listed above, but I know the BHks were outed due to repeated seal ids.  Maybe the few guys involved in the other thread here might have some additional insight.  The other thread is 5 pages long, and out of those 5 pages, there are only a handful of posts with some useful info.  I think some names were mentioned, so the seller was eventually outed, but the details were left out as this was not from an OLH sale.

Just be cautious of the smokes mentioned above, as they are known to be involved in this FB ordeal...and surely some will come here trying to make their money back.

It was more than just the duplicate serials on the fake BHKs, but that is what first tipped a few people off who noticed. On closer examination the numerical code font was off, the barcode when scanned with a reader did not return the same serial #, and there were suttle deviations in the warranty seal.
