Can't remember where I stole this recipe but it is perfect for a flask.....recipe makes 8oz
4.75 oz Bourbon
6 dashes Peychauds bitters
2 oz Amaro
3/4 oz Strega
Great on cold nights or stumbling down the French Quarter anytime.

Re: Night Tripper - The Perfect Flask Sipper
Those last 2 ingredients are exotic liqueurs and not sure if we can even get them here in PA... I usually just fill my flask all the way to the spout with decent bourbon or rye.

Re: Night Tripper - The Perfect Flask Sipper
It took me a minute to find the Strega...Amaro is pretty common in the Nashville Market. I too prefer bourbon or rye straight BUT.....this is pretty damn tasty as a change of pace.
