I've had interactions w/several people ISO HTF cigars. After agreeing on a price, then never hearing from them again.
Do people just do this for fun? I just don't get it.
Anybody else have this happen to them? X

They found a better price or don't have the $
Be sure and make deposits in all areas of your life, because at some point you will need to make a withdraw. No deposits are more important than those made in relationships.

This site is full of tire kickers lately or deadbeats that don't pay when they say they will.

That's bad karma. A man's word should be his bond, no matter if he later finds a better deal or not.

I have run into this issue 3 times with the same individual, always asks to pay at the end of the week then goes dark. And another individual that asked me to price him out all sorts of different configurations then never paid.

I can see asking someone for prices first, of course. But once you agree to the terms, the deal is made. I always pay immediately afterwards.
If you're not going to go through with the deal, why waste yours & the other fellow's time ?
P.S. - also, if youre gonna ask someone to take the time & effort to price something out, have the courtesy to reply & let him know what you're thinking. If his prices are a little too high, let him know. Maybe you'll come to an agreement, and maybe not. It's frustrating to go through the time & effort and then hear absolutely nothing back. That's just plain rude behavior. - end of rant -
