Thanks!
A good cigar and a good drink on the back deck by the lake...if that doesn't make you relax, nothing will!

Had a sample at a bourbon tasting and that 1792 is great.
My every day drinker eagle rare 10, IMO hard to beat for the money

ER 10 is such a under rated bourbon, I agree fantastic pour for an extremely good value.

Recently finished a bottle of Willett Pot Still Reserve. Very nice, and at $43, I thought it was a pretty good buy.

About a week ago I picked up some Palm Ridge Reserve for the first time. From the grains (which are grown in Florida) to the mash bill, distilling and bottling, this whiskey is entirely Florida-made. It had great reviews, including a 94 rating by Jim Murray in his 2015 Whiskey Bible, so I decided to give it a go. Holy moly! This is some super yummy stuff. A must try if you can get it.
The nose offers a gorgeous bouquet of butterscotch, toffee, orange and a bit of vanilla. On the palate you get some light oak and char that soon gives way to flavors of caramel, orange, vanilla and cinnamon. There is a long, beautiful finish that allows you to savor and enjoy this whiskey at a casual pace. I'm not a whiskey connoisseur, but to my tastes the 94 rating is definitely justified.

Mmmmmmm! My current favorite. My local seems to be getting a case of the 1.75 L every other month. For $75, it's a screaming quality/price ratio.
