Got an email saying my PP refund didn't go through.
I like the idea of the bank getting involved.
SmokinCeeGars acct is currently suspended for suspicious activity

I received an email this morning saying my refund did not complete. Says Rodney refunded my money then removed the refund.
Edit. It appears a "removed" refund means the person sent an e-check (which I didn't know was a thing until a few weeks ago) and no balance to cover.

I got the same email this morning. I don't have any expectation that I will actually receive a refund.

I wondered if PayPal took action and tried to force a refund. Just seems weird that a refund would be started without funds and the recipient would be charged fees.
Edit: I wondered if PayPal forced because I never received an email saying a refund was being processed. Look liked it was started AUG 10th but I didn't know until I was informed it didn't go through

Re: SmokinCeeGars acct is currently suspended for suspicious activity
We all got the same information. I have some other information to share via PM when time permits, but not on the open forum. Just give me some time, I have a few house guests and can't address it now. I will add this.....FACT: PP knows he was selling CC w/o a tobacco license, and that he was asking for payment via F&F, thus avoiding their fees. A few people got refunds from their bank. I suspect the banks then contacted PP to get their money back, PP will give the banks their funds, can't afford not to. PP suspends scammer account and starts their own investigation. Him (or them) selling tobacco w/o a license involves ATF. Just a guess, but if PP if pressing him, coupled with pressure from some of us, he is trying to issue refunds, but can't because of a frozen account. Some speculation on my part. Or is he scamming us again?? We will know soon enough.

So what? What information could there be that the scammer doesn't already know himself? Fact is we don't know everything he knows.

True. We don't know everything he knows and he's not volunteering to tell us either. So why should we tell him in detail how we plan to proceed?
My intention was not to derail the thread, and I agree a lot of the information needs to be public so we can unravel this mess, but it would not be wise to show all of our cards.
