Messaged you to prove a point. You say you got confused with your messages. You had no problem answering me when it came to your for sale thread. I also sent an email to the one you have listed on your profile. Either way it is what it is at this point.

volpow...  did you have an agreed upon deal in place?  If not, then there shouldn't be an issue.  I know of many instances where the buyer, or trader wanted to make the "deal" worth his while, for shipping etc and wanted to see if more can be added to the pot.  If not, the sale/trade didn't make much sense.  No harm no foul in asking.  But if he led you on saying he will buy your original sale cigars but also wondered if you have more, then that's a bit different.  But until an actual agreement is in place, you move on.

Ok to inderstand you correctly. youre saying if you post something for sale. Then you get a message asking if its still available. you respond with yes and say this is my pp and ask for the other party's address. The other party responds with before he sends payment do you have any other hard to find tats. You the  respond with no you do not have any more hard to finds. After you send that messsage you hear nothing. you then respond with follow up messages but get no response. just to be clear your saying thats ok?

Not the best way to handle since a simple "I'll pass" follow up would have been approproate, but also not overly offensive since it sounds like a deal was never consummated.

Unless he said "I'll take them" instead of "are they still available?" he was just window shopping.

To understand you correctly...  is that you think by someone asking "are they still available?", is that you say that's an agreement on a deal?

Without reading your actual messages to each other, I can' comment on my opinion of your "deal."  If the guy said he was going to pay and then ignored you, then yes I believe that is BS.  But if the guy simply asked if they are still available, then asked what else do you have, then it's all talk at that point.

If no deal was agreed upon in this case, then you learned a lesson... don't assume.  You can message with people in good faith but don't assume anything until someone actually says they are buying it, then payment is made.

These are all examples of learning the hard way.  I've been around the block long enough where you can see/smell "window shopper" messages from a mile away and don't let it bother you.  Just send a quick reply and move on to the next person.  I've sent plenty of replies to my sales saying yes they are still available and never hear anything back.

If he indeed said "before I send payment", that consummates the deal.  He acknowledged that he wanted the cigars, would sent payment, but before he sent the agreed upon amount, he wanted to see if the seller had anything else he might want.

If the seller just threw that statement in there, then no, asking if they're available is not the same as "I'll take them".

Agreed which is why I said I wouldn't give my answer without seeing the actual messages.  But I personally as a seller wouldn't believe that's a done deal if someone said that to me, I'd want clarification before thinking it was done.  If I don't get that clarification soon, move on.  Annoying?  Yes, but I wouldn't lose sleep over it.
