I have to say all of Beantown's cigars he sells look very, very well taken care of.

I only made an observation on what I have seen lately. No observation on anyone's cigars in particular, just that I have seen the same thing more than once. More than one batch popping up here and there. If you can't see that the cigars look cosmetically recently rolled and the box looks like its been in a battle I can't help you. Kinda like buying a car with a lot of battle scars, the engine looks brand new and the odometer says "0". It is standard practice in Cuba for house rollers to re-fill boxes that are used to sell singles. I was recently in the Havana Libre Hotel and watched the house roller roll piles of double banded Cohibas. Not the 1st time I have seen it and likely won't be the last. So recycling boxes has been around for a while. I feel that this recent phenomenon of older boxes popping up here and there is just that, recycled boxes. Yah, my cigars are a joke... 2-3 times less than forgops mancrush, the cigars ship in a reasonable time and I don't have timely spreadsheet excuses. Now I have to ask myself a question. Why would someone have a box of cigars with 20+ years on them and not even try one cigar? But I am sure there are plenty of good answers that dance around the question.

He's selling readily available sticks with a significant markup - I don't have an issue with that, per se - that's the price his buyers have to pay for not doing their homework.

It does bother me that he clutters up the front page constantly with the same shit (exact same list, exact same price) day by day. How many new potential buyers show up in a day?

Mt two cents ...

There are more than a few guys I've known over the years who simply prefer not to deal with an international vendor irrespective of their delivery guarantee because they don't want to risk "the letter" for whatever reason.  The premium they're paying on readily available sticks is the price for piece of mind.  The cigars are already stateside, and there are minimal chances for hassles to be had.

Tell ya what-spend the money out of your own pocket up front for the travel and cigars, then come back and sell them at no mark up being the upstanding BOTL you are. Then you can hope those who said they wanted a bundle didn't flake out like several buyers do because something else popped up and they no longer have the money.

I included that in my definition of homework. Agreed.

Still don't have to bump all the time, though.

Or with one of his bumps, he could at least have a price drop

That's not how he does it. He's got a significant markup, charges extra for shipping and never has a price drop. I stopped opening his posts months ago.
