... belongs to OLH's most beloved gouger, gllerner. I tear up every time I read his touching tribute from Jan. 7:

Brother, I'm right there with you. What a way to disgrace the recently departed!
And, yes, Gene is one of the more clueless slingers here right now. If no one jumped in the first week, lower your prices or start smoking! The impatient fools with money burning a hole in their pocket are few and far between.
To think there are fans who would love these new releases to smoke, not flip.
Hey, Gene - why not get a real job?

Nobody here has yet topped the guy on a shooting forum that I frequent that has had a rifle for sale for over a yr. Over 13000 views last time I looked, he'd been dropping the price a little here and there. (he needed to come of about 50% to get it sold, but so far :boty:

Avi is definitely a clown. He hit me up for DC 80ths when they came out (I had none), but promised to save me some if he found any. He found some and rather than offering them to me per his word, he just posted them for $20+ ea. Now I have an inkling why so many people dislike him across a few forums.
As for Gene, I don't think he sells too much. Most folks here are savvy enough to know the usual sources and what things go for, HTF or not. Gene's just trying to establish secondary-market pricing benchmarks and it appears to not be working well.
