Hagen, is that the one you had at the Phx Herf? I have to look into getting one.

Yes sir it is it has thinner blades than the Xikar so it cuts smoother and finer IMO.
What's your choice for cutting?

Re: What's your choice for cutting?
For thicker ring gauges, I use my Zino DG to score the area around which I would like to cut. Then, I flick the cap off with my thumb. It has worked very well. But for figurados, I have to fully engage both blades.
For thinner ring gauges, still looking. I guess a narrow punch would do.

I used to switch between my xikar and a punch but now I pretty much strictly use my Palio. It has been very reliable and effective

Xikar at home.
Mean Sardine (xikar) in the car.
Whatever is at the shop when I'm there...

I've got it all, Zino, Davidoff, Palio, Xikar, Xikar2, Xikar3, Savinelli, SAK, Bullet cutter - I think the Palio is best for everyday, and Davidoff for herfs.

Not all, the Credo Synchro may be better than all of them. Much better than the Palio. IMHO

Found a super deal on my favorite cutter, on Ebay, now. Check them out... http://search.ebay.com/credo-synchro_W0QQfromZR40

I looked into the Credos and found them a bit bulky...
Anybody know a site for Palios....for a good deal?
