Say what?
The reason behind him not giving the guy his money was because of just being taken to the woodshed for a couple G. The guy got his money back and leo learned a valuable lesson.

It took 5 years to get Kyle on that list.

Hence what was already mentioned, don't dabble into selling high end stuff if you cannot make good on your end if buyer wants a refund. It should be noted that it's a pretty bad idea to send cigars of any value with re-glued bands and you don't have this kind of problem to begin with.

Not Kyle... Kona, from CF. Kona Peaberry. He was a few months late on some trades, but came through on every transaction and never had any questions about authenticity.

In fact, according to the list, it was only one trade.

Anyways, on second thought I agree with you Taps. In the end, he made right, and that is what matters. I was just going back and reading the thread and saw what a sour attitude he had about the entire thing, even up until the end he was bitching and moaning. The way he packaged the cigars is downright scary, as well. List or not, I won't be trading with him, although I'm sure he doesn't care. Carry on, fellas.  :nana:

The fact of the matter is that he wouldn't have made good without the threat of the list, and showed all manner of dishonesty as well as a truly abysmal attitude. Perhaps it's subjective, but to me that's easily a 'Bad Trader' strike.

Nope,  I probably would not have. With that said, I would like to apologize for my handling of the situation. I guess I was pissed off because of the claim that they were fake(which I still stand by the fact that they are genuine). That doesn't excuse my handling of the situation which was not good in anyway, shape, or form.

Damnn.

Isn't this la1994 active on FOH? Did Rob say anything about this? What's the final verdict of this SNAFU?

I heard he went crying to Rob who basically told him to kick rocks. This kid is a frat boy clown who attempted to dupe somebody on a $1000 box of cigars.

All he did was try to question Rob's credibility for trying to pass off cigars he rebanded.  Rob inspects his stuff and if he had a box of reglued bands with fingerprints, do you think for a second he would have sent them to a customer?

I've easliy purchased 1,000 cigars from Rob and have never come across a single band that had fingerprints or appeared anything like his reglued PGR bands on some regular production Lusi's.

But who am I to judge for a guy making a career of wiping asses and buying $1k boxes of cigars?

Ill be living quite well in 2 years forgop I love how concerned you are about my life. I really appreciate your concern.  Im doing quite well for my age and it will inly be getting better ;)

I actually never contacted Rob,  theres no need to because the cigars are real.  I also never said that rob switched bands. Please dont say stuff that i didnt do.  I did say that if the got are fake then we all have a bigger problem in our hands.  Glue on bands of cigars does not indicate anything, and if you think that they wouldn't be that sloppy on a high end release you're high.
