I think that is called "getting shit in your neck". I have often found myself drooling over something, and absolutely having to have it, no matter what. Then reality sets in and my pockets resemble rabbit ears. The want is still there, and compromise mode sets in, but in reality I can't make it work. There lies the shit in the neck.

Having read the original post which was edited from its full copy to resolved, I think you are doing the other members a disservice.  The guy sounded like he should be avoided if for nothing else but to save people time in dealing with this asshat.
