I would buy less (I have quiet enough at the moment) and get very selective, because of quality. :)

I would defiantly not buy Habanos, instead I would focus on companies that might start using Cuban tobacco in their blends. In my honest opinion NC's quality is superior to CC's now. They just can't produce tobacco that has that Cuban flavor.
I have to say it will be interesting to see what happens when the embargo eventually ends. Don't count on it to be too soon.

I have to agree that the quality will suffer, when the embargo ends, but look at the brighter side: one will have so many "legal" choices... ;)

I agree with the theory on prices increasing and quality going down. That being said, I think more smoking clubs would open, more friends of mine would pick up the hobby or increase their collecting and, because of this, I would probably be buying more isoms than I am today. However, I still would continue to purchase a decent amount of non-isoms.

Good point. Populatiry will no doubt skyrocket as guys that know very little take up the hobby. This too will contribute to increased prices.

There would be a re-boom, and quality would go to hell like it did in '97, the already washed out uniqueness of the various marques would be greater. Hope you have a good relationship with a vendor with aged stock or your own 3 yr supply.

Exactly!

I would probably buy less, as demand would increase price in my opinion.

Yep...that's why I'm stockin' up now. ;D
