Its the same exact ones that multiple people got taken for on here. Search the BZ. There was a huge counterfeit opus ring going on.

I know I read it awhile ago. But how can you tell that is one of the fakes? The band?

Fuente used molds on all of their handmade cigars. Uniformity is the key. This BBMF Cuban tickler is on the side and the shoulders are more pointed than round. Looks similar to the ones I bought.
I come from the land of "Show your tit's, and that ain't no lie!!!

Re: Fake Opus X BBMF for sale on the TSBC
Whoa whoa whoa. Pump the brakes. One of the pics is MY sale and that is most certainly not a fake. I work in a cigar shop, I have tons of opus and I get quite a bit of Carlitos rare stuff. Not to say that even legit folks can't get duped but that is indeed a real one. Look at the rest of the sticks I'm selling with it. Hell if it's that big a deal I'll just remove the FFFX BBMF from the sale. I only added it to sweeten the pot, much like the monte A and opus A coffins.
It's irresponsible to blindly accuse someone of selling fakes with nothing other than your opinion. I was messaged very respectfully from a couple of folks about it and I have no problem answering questions, including better pics of it etc. but it's pretty slimey to lump my sale in with fakes.
I've been selling in puff for years and private forums as well. I've never ever sold a fake nor do I deal in them. Having said that, there's always a chance for fakes in this biz but I stand behind my sale and I'd appreciate being left out of conversations about scammers since I've never scammed anyone and deserve a tad more respect than that.
If someone wants the sampler minus the BBMF I'm happy to exclude it. I thought I was doing something brotherly by offering it at a great price. But if this is how folks like that get treated I'll hang on to it and sell the others.
Thank you to Cohim for messaging me respectfully like a man instead of blindly posting pics of my sale and accusing them of being fake. I've always been prompt and thorough with my sales and purchases.
Thanks.

Re: Fake Opus X BBMF for sale on the TSBC
After doing some searching it's not hard to figure out that this guy is a tool. There's a poll about him being a douchebag for gods sake. The fact that he started a thread here with a link to my sale claiming "this is the same cigar blah blah blah". I didn't know anything about any fakes being sold to anyone and the only interaction I'd had with anyone in this thread were a couple of PM,s asking me about the stick. And again they were very respectful unlike this post.
I'm going to ignore the rest of this garbage because this guy is clearly one of those guys who has nothing better to do aside from trying to be the sheriff of the board. Maybe he needs a job. Either way he should stay out of business that he's not involved in unless it's an obvious scam.
As I mentioned before, I've been selling cigars for years on puff and elsewhere and never had any feedback that wasn't great. Maybe the gentleman who bought my Padron boxes will chime in with his opinion on my status as a seller as I'm certain that he was satisfied.
But the "sheriff" should sincerely have more respect for others. I've given no reason for anyone here to question my sales and if there are any concerns I'm glad to address them in PMs.
Super annoying. There's always gotta be one or two guys that have nothing better to do than be a troll.
I'm tempted to just give one of the bbmfs to someone and have them smoke it so they can let the sheriff know that he's the only one full of shit around here.
*thereal shame is that his feedback is all good so he seems like a good dude. Too bad he's gone and acted like an ass in this thread (and plenty of others from the looks of it😂).

That and the cellophane is identical to the fakes.
[/quote]
So when you're handed <insert random rare Fuente or any cigar for that matter> from the manufacturer and it's not in retail cello it's fake? I've been in the industry for quite a while my friend and I've been handed MANY cigars in plain cello, unbanded, prototype bands etc... I've yet to have one fake given to me by manufacturers in many many years. Not to say it doesn't happen but it sure as hell doesn't happen often.
