Working on bottle number two and trimming down our random mint plant that is growing by our porch in the grass. Can't find the blanco anymore, and the three year tastes a bit different till you get to drink number 3 lol. Good thing we are stocked up :)
Cheers

This is how we made them at the lcdh cozumel.....
3 spoons of sugar
Mint still attached to the stems (a lot of flavor comes from the stem)
2 shots HC rum
1 shot fresh lime juice
Club soda
Dash of bitters
In a 12 oz glass put in sugar lime juice and mint and muddle together with the back of a spoon. The sugar acts as an abrasive and helps get the mint oil out of the leaf and stem. Most people do this too much and end up with small chopped up pieces of mint, you don't want that to happen. Next add ice to the top. Then comes the shots of rum. After that top off with club soda. A dash or two of bittersis last.
So all Of the good stuff is at the bottom and you have a layered drink in the glass now. Put the spoon in the bottom and pull to the top of the glass a few times to mix.
There you have it. The best mojito e v e r!

My Father In Law is apart of a group going to Cuba for the government. He has brought back quite a bit of Rum. I can ask him to try and find this for you if you would like.
