Exactly ! When 1/2 the country doesn't even vote. And those that do automatically vote for incumbents. Who could expect any differen ?. It's gonna take a big shake-up for things to change.

I live in Albany, and it is as corrupt as Chicago and New Orleans.  Members of both parties seem to think that their elective positions put them above the law.  This isn't the first scandal here, and it won't be the last.

I always think that it's only rare that these cases are found out and prosecuted, not that they occur.

I'm a pessimist in these cases I suppose,
But I'd wager this is the rule, not the exception.
It goes on at every single level of government almost every time.
