I've seen that the most in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. An ex told me her Dad wore something like a Glock 9 or 45 or whatever on his hip to church!

Scary? Maybe, but what is even more scary is the thought that such a person legally and openly carrying might have bad intentions and [i]not[/i] get checked on.

Lemme guess, you might be one of those frantically calling 911 if you saw someone open carrying on the sidewalk or be like the dipshit who tackled a guy in Walmart for carrying?

IMO, the guy you have to be on the lookout for are the ones who don't open carry, but then again, a lot of us conceal just because of people who freak out about someone carrying a gun and want to avoid cops asking a bunch of questions.

it sucks, that is a bummer. but they can keep you out while waiting for a warrant. if there was something she needed out of the house or something they will escort her in and right back out. they should have been more upfront with her though. big reason why everyone thinks cops are dicks!

I call BS on that.  My property, no warrant, sorry, you aren't keeping me out of my own home until then.  If she was inside, LEGALLY, they have no right to enter until they do, but that doesn't stop the commandos from doing what they do all the time.  As far as I'm concerned, without a warrant, bullets are gonna fly if that door gets opened by someone from the outside.

I see people say stuff like this all the time, but if you're at home, and some cops (dumb as they may be) enter your house without a warrant, would you actually, honest to God, open fire on them?  :popcorn:

Sadly, I believe my state is the only one that has ruled it to be against the law for a homeowner to shoot police in a no knock raid.

If it gets to the point they need in my house without a warrant, this place has gone to hell even more so that it'd be better to just let the bullets fly. I'm getting quite fed up with the police state in which our constitutional rights have been eroded by our presidents, our congress, our courts, and our police departments.  We should have started our revolution 15 years ago, but our government likes to keep the masses dependent to be their puppets.

if you were at work and came home to a bunch of cops surrounding your house because they had just received information that you had a body in your house, you are not getting into that house. If you have to, you will wait until they get that warrant and there is nothing you can do about it unfortunately. And if you act up and get too rammy, they will probably kick your ass and arrest you!
