Glenlivet Nadurra + Ramons Allones 2011 Extra

Sat down with a friend a few weeks ago and decided to try pairing the Nadurra with the RA 2011 Extra. I'm pretty cautious about whisky pairings because they can really overpower the cigar nuances.

In this case it was a match made in heaven.

When I am smoking a cigar, I want to enjoy all of the flavors and aromas possible, especially with vintage Habanos. I have always felt my palate becomes overwhelmed from the alcohol, with the Scotch being so strong in flavor, taking away from the cigar.

I love Scotch and I love Habanos.....I just don't love them together!  ;D

I may have to look into this Nadurra however...

Glenlivet make a good all around drink, on of my favorite go to's is the 12 and 15 oak cask

i love the nadurra. i went through 7 bottles last year. it's pretty much my favorite glenlivet.
