I Homebrew and keg.  Another slippery slope hobby for sure.  12 kegs on draught at my house now ;)

Homebrewtalk is wonderful

I get my ingredients from austin Homebrew supply

Move to kegs if you find you like brewing

Like a humidor buy a bigger brew pot and burner than you think you will need it will save you funds in the long run

Sanitize everything!

so I did 4 beers this year, a coconut/vanilla porter, 2 IPAs (a Ballast Point Sculpin clone and a Bells 2 Hearted Clone), and I will soon be putting my Bourbon Barrel Ale (made with Four Roses Single Barrel) on tap (its sat on oak chips for close to 5 months so far).

How was the 2 hearted clone? My Xmas gift from the wifey this year included oodles of 2 hearted she scored in Kentucky.  It is easily my favorite domestic suds and I miss living near the bells taproom.

It turned out great, I think it was a partial mash recipe, so it was easy... I will gladly share it, if you want to try it out.

If I remember right, 2 hearted uses all Centennial, at various points of the boil, and maybe some in dry hop too (for aroma).  Bells 2 hearted ale, and Bells Hopslam (double IPA) are 2 of my personal favorites, if you can find them on tap.

Yes, please post or PM me the recipe.  A few of us tried a clone recipe a few years ago and it was meh, although that was during a hop shortage here in the southeast.

My friend in Kalamazoo was just telling me they have Hopslam and their Barleywine on tap right now!

OK, I lied...thought it was a partial, but I was wrong... this one was full grain, and I do remember using my mash tun for this over the summer.

Bell's 2 Hearted Clone (All Grain) - this was a cut/paste from homebrewtalk.

Recipe Type: All Grain
Yeast: SafAle English Ale (DCL Yeast #S-04)
Yeast Starter: none
Batch Size (Gallons): 5.5
Original Gravity: 1.055
Final Gravity: 1.014
IBU: 52.6
Boiling Time (Minutes): 60
Color: 5.6
Primary Fermentation (# of Days & Temp): at least 4 weeks at 65 F
Tasting Notes: Extremely drinkable. This clone is as perfect as I can tell.

The actual gravity for this beer is 1.064
The FG is 1.010
Yeast is taken from a bottle of Bells Amber (their Pale Ale also works)

10 lbs Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM) Grain 76.92 %
2 lbs Vienna Malt (3.5 SRM) Grain 15.38 %
8.0 oz Cara-Pils/Dextrine (2.0 SRM) Grain 3.85 %
8.0 oz Caramel/Crystal Malt - 20L (20.0 SRM) Grain 3.85 %

*mash at 150 F

1.00 oz Centennial [9.50 %] (60 min) Hops 30.3 IBU
0.50 oz Centennial [9.50 %] (Dry Hop 5 days) Hops -
1.00 oz Centennial [9.50 %] (15 min) Hops 15.0 IBU
1.00 oz Centennial [9.50 %] (5 min) Hops 6.0 IBU
1.00 oz Centennial [9.50 %] (1 min) Hops 1.3 IBU

7% ABV

THis one turned out so good, I will definitely brew it again... Sculpin is another easy one to brew and it comes out great everytime... it just uses some exotic hops and a bunch of different ones.
