New tasting glass

Post by cadillac doc »

Picked a set of these up online at Villeroy and Boch at 1/2 price.

To me they work as well with bourbon and rye as a glencairn glass.

I am in serious need of ice lessons. The clearest I have been able to make is when I put hot water from my water cooler. I have tried distilled water, and I have tried boiling water, and a billion other tricks. What are you doing that is different from me Doc?

The trick is using directional freezing. Google the term for a lot of good information on it.  There's a few molds that are now sold that incorporate this method with pretty good results from what I have read .
