End of April, 2014 to early Jan, 2015 = a little over 8 months according to my calculations.

3 months and another group buy has come and gone since I started this thread.  I still don't have the bundle I'm owed and haven't heard a peep out of Dallas since he posted to this thread back in October.   Looks like people from his latest group buy are searching for answers here, too.   Same old story.

He's had my money for 8 months, now.   IMO his posting privileges here should be suspended until I'm made right.  Either refund me or send me 25 sticks.

It seems this is the first request you've made for a refund, is it not?  From what I've read, you've continued to want cigars that apparently have been difficult to come by for one reason or another.  Give him his opportunity to make good on getting you your money back.  If he doesn't provide you with a prompt refund, then get out the torches and pitch forks.

Various reasons/excuses.  My sticks were originally sent to someone else by mistake.  This person said "Free Sticks!" and kept them (You're a PoS whoever you are).  Dallas didn't know who he sent them to, so he was missing one bundle.  This was back in May.  Since then, I have heard various excuses from "I thought I sent those?", to "My Spreadsheet didn't show I owed you cigars.", to "Robusto Extras haven't been available."  I don't know what to believe anymore.

What I have done is I have continued to give him chances to make good on this without having to issue me a refund. My mistake, I guess, in not having demanded a refund earlier.  I stopped caring about the cigars last summer after months of going back and forth with him.   Now, I just want resolution because it doesn't seem like he gives a rip.  I have spent entirely too much time and worry over this, and a refund seems like the only way it will ever get resolved.   So, it's time for that.  Or 25 sticks, I don't even care which ones at this point.

You've been more than reasonable up to this point. I'm just saying give him a chance to refund your money just now that it's been requested in lieu of the cigars.

But for the critics, I more than welcome anyone interested in customs to take on the same role and deal with "Cuba being Cuba" after making the mistake of shipping the bundle in error.

This wouldn't even be an issue if he just kept in touch.  Obviously, I'm patient and know how hard it is sometimes to get these sticks.  He's had at least 4 trips since the mistake and not once, in 8 months, has he emailed me to keep me up to date.  Even after I started this thread back in October, he's had at least one trip there and I still haven't gotten an update.  That's no way to do business.

I believe you have completely missed the point. The criticism isn't about getting the cigars. It's about Dallas not communicating. For months on end. When he has other people's money.

That makes him a bad trader, and a horrible group buyer.

Ok so everything else aside, it sounds like you are now requesting a refund but had not previously.  Have you asked Dallas for the refund directly (and has he responded)?
