c.read makes a fantastic post in the ISO column:

Looking for Pappy 15 for $160 cash or $225 trade -- about a third of the current secondary market value for that particular bottle. Now, sure, one can be wiling to pay whatever one would like for a bottle, however, at that price, the likelihood of someone actually answering it is about zero.
However, whatever happened to actually being a contributing member to a community before trying to flood with ISOs on hard to find stuff, at prices that are significantly less than what they cost on secondary? For a guy that has a handful of posts, he has a pretty aggressive posting style. I'd guess he's probably either a banned member with a second handle, or he came here from reddit.
For what it's worth, I don't think all of those who came here from reddit are bad -- and I've had good interactions with some of them. However, a not insignificant number of them have had some entitlement issues in the past with regards to how this forum should behave.
In any case, is the idea that one should actually contribute something to a community before asking the community to basically do them a favor completely dead?

For what it's worth, here's the PM c.read sent me after his initial thread in the ISO board:

Dick (don't care about your name),
Where have you been. You talk shit then leave. I guess that's how you got 100 post... oh wait you don't even have 100. Just to let you know. I offered $800 in cigars and $150 cash and he turned it down. It's funny that you have the problem with me asking for a reasonable price. You sold your Jekyll for a fair price, when you could have ripped someone off.

To respond to it here -- you offered 800 in cigars and 150 in cash, but your ISO was $225 in trade, which is what I poked fun at you for in the ISO forum.
The problem is that your ISO isn't asking for a reasonable price -- it's asking for a price that's 1/3 of market value. That's basically asking someone here to do you a favor by hunting down a bottle they don't want for themselves, and selling it to someone who is completely new and unknown and hasn't built any relationships with anyone in this community. That's asking a lot.

Wow, really? You don't agree with someone offering cigars instead of cash on a cigar board. Then you bash him in a thread. Grow up and stop your high school gossip.
I personally know c.read and he is an excellent botl.

Reading comprehension must not be your strong suit, Mr. 3 posts.

I usually never post since this place is a zoo. When you bring pm's to public about a brother i know, then I'll say something. Sorry if you feel i missed your excellent writing in your post... I could give a rats ass. If you have an issue with someone in a pm, keep it in a pm and quit being a beeotch about it
