Compensation for screwed up shipping?

Excuse me for being blunt but you would wreck your stellar selling rep over 5 bucks? Who screwed up here? It wasn't the buyer. The buyer should've never had to ask for the refund to begin with. It's really irrelevant if he asked or not. You owe it to him and should've done the right thing and refunded it immediately, apologized for the mishap instead of jumping on this thread reacting angrily. It's your screw up. You own it.

Cmitch, I never said I would not refund him, everyone is missing my point, not only could he contact me via pm, my email address is public which leads me to believe he just wanted to cause trouble. I'll gladly refund his 5 bucks because apparently he needs it. I was gonna be the bigger man and leave this out, but I'll gladly post his pompous arrogant on' she sent me beating me up over price. In closing I will refund his money so you can all sleep better tonight.

Selfish I'll give you and yes I sell things at a reasonable price. I don't know why that's a bad thing, would you rather me be a price gouger like some of these other criminals on here? I'll gladly sell some of this years pappy for 700 dollars a bottle.
