I'm sure that depending on your point of view he did, but then I'm not a member of any organization that routinely hacks people's heads off for the stated reason that their mystical beliefs differ from mine.
As such, I think a swim off of the fantail is supremely appropriate.

I would argue for the screws to be turning at a high RPM first.
