Walla Walla, WA

Post by ubiquito »

I will be here for the next 5 weeks and cannot find any info online about cigar friendly joints. Anyone have insider info?

Thanks!

Dude...it's Walla Walla. Are you serious?

Do they even have a gas station there yet? :)
Be sure and make deposits in all areas of your life, because at some point you will need to make a withdraw. No deposits are more important than those made in relationships.

Wildhorse Casino about 45 minutes drive away might be your only option.  I think they're still cigar-friendly, although I haven't been there in a couple of years and some of the Indian casinos in Oregon are going no-cigar/cigarettes-only (grrr).

If you're really up for a drive, go north towards Spokane to Northern Quest Casino.  Unfortunately, it's a three hour drive from Walla Walla.  But they have a great sports bar/cigar lounge there.

It looks like the Wild Horse is still smoker-friendly so that may be worth the drive every now and then.  I see that Locati Cellars here sells cigars in their tasting room so I may pop over there and inquire.

Thanks for the tip, Mike!

What's going on with the wine industry there might surprise you. Over 130 wineries there now & producing some damn nice wines (i.e. Leonetti, pepper bridge, double back, l'ecole to name just a few).

No longer live there but my folks do, but visit a couple times a year.

And the casino will be your best bet. Nothing else there really for a smoker that I'm aware of.

Yep.  World class wines without a doubt.  The town isn't as podunk as you'd think, either, with the wine industry as big as it is here.
