Parking Services/Towing Companies

Post by WadeFillingame »

I'm not sure whether to be happy or appalled at the efficiency of the towing company that patrols my apartment parking lot.

I've watched them with a snowbrush out checking every car in the lot for the mirror tag.  When my GF and I were talking to the building manager they hooked to her car and tried to leave with it.

I just watched the guy cruise the lot, get out, look at a windshield, I walked to the stove and turned the water on for tea, walked back to the window, and he was pulling away with the car.  Less than 90 seconds from target acquisition to pulling away.  Oh yea, it's 38 and raining.  These guys are worse than duck hunters, nothing stops them.

If you ever visit me in Mass, DO NOT LEAVE THE VEHICLE WITH OUT A PARKING PASS!  :gotcha:

Tow truck drivers work on commision and impounds are big money.
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving
safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in
sideways, cigar in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used
up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"
