They are DEF not box worthy. If that is what you want.

I completely disagree. These are the best out of the box anejos I had for a long time and think they will pick up more spice with age.

Great to light up with you today Bob. The one I smoked today reminded me of a well aged Anejo. Very smoth and 2nd half spiced up in true anejo fashion.
Loved the size . Perfect construction, draw and burn IMHO.
Expensive but worth the coin. I was lucky to obtain a sealed box but paid a premium. I hope Carlito makes these part of the regular Anejo releases.

solid smoke for sure... definitely worth a snag... grab a couple and see how time treats em... theyre nice but im sure that a couple years would do them well. if you can find the volume, i'd age a good portion.

Same here, my friend! Always good to see you and share an ashtray!
I'll be ashing one soon. Looking forward to seeing the 888s as a regular Fuente issue.

people seem really divided on this one...
one guy said it seemed like a milder different blend and wasn't happy with it.

cigarlover888 said the sticks start off smooth and mild, and build into the expected "spice" about half way through.
Our local B&M limited customers to only two (they only got one box). I was fortunate to grab four in two visits (got the last two that they had, and the box on the last visit).
I'm letting my "allotment" rest a while before trying one. Hoping to get some more and age them a while.
