A New Anejo Debuting
From Cigar Aficionado:
Fuente Expanding Añejo Brand

Arturo Fuente's dark, rare and considerably powerful Añejo brand is getting a new size. The Arturo Fuente Añejo Reserva will be shipping in mid-September.
The smoke is a figurado with a pointed head slimmer than that found on piramides such as Montecristo No. 2s. The tip doesn't end in a classic point, but has a bit of extra stub that allows the smoker of the cigar to have an ultra-concentrated smoking experience. It measures 6 5/8 inches long, with a ring gauge of 44.
The Añejo brand was created in the aftermath of disaster. When Hurricane Georges tore through the Dominican Republic in 1998, wrecking many curing barns on Chateau de la Fuente, Carlos Fuente Jr. feared he wouldn't be able to make his Fuente Fuente OpusX cigars, powerful smokes cloaked in wrapper leaves grown on that farm. Turning to his vast stocks of tobacco, he used aged, dark Connecticut broadleaf and put it on a Fuente Fuente OpusX bunch, creating a new brand he dubbed Arturo Fuente Añejo.
Fuente's Añejo brand is made in fairly small quantities, and typically shows up in high-end cigar stores around Father's Day and the December holiday season. The smokes have a full-bodied, brawny flavor and pack a considerable punch, making them favorites among those who like their cigars spicy and bold.
The cigars typically score in the high 80s in blind tastings in Cigar Aficionado magazine and Cigar Insider newsletter; the Reserva No. 55 once scored 94 points.

They'll definitely be on my Holiday shopping list.
Any idea on pricing - similar to the 46's?

$289
Be sure and make deposits in all areas of your life, because at some point you will need to make a withdraw. No deposits are more important than those made in relationships.

Re: A New Anejo Debuting
Retailers had to buy 25 boxes of regular Fuente cigars to be able to buy 1 box of these. Look for bigger Fuente accounts to have more of them.

I have been told it was 30 boxes and that B&Ms are only getting 1 box of the 888s.

Hmmm.... then these will be difficult to come by. :-\
