Cohiba Sig II ready?

Post by Jslesca »

Hello, I've got a 5 pack from Sep 2011.  Looking for opinions, should I give em another year in the humi or will it not make much difference? Obviously the more aging the better, but I don't have a lot of experience with cohiba sigs and not sure on their aging potential. Thanks

Since I have the palate of a billy goat, and stuff like, "undertones of oak with a subtle hint of vanilla" mean absolutely nothing to me, and I don't have enough experience with fresh vs aged-by-me cigars, I like to sample at least one when I purchase a box or a handful of any cigars, and then I take it from there. If I absolutely love a cigar when it is fresh, I'm liable to smoke them all now and "try" to purchase more. After all, what if I find out I don't care for them as much after hanging on to them for 5 years? Then again, if I smoke all of them now just because I love them, what if I'm missing out on what could have been supremely superb if only I had held onto them for 5 years? YMMV, of course.

I hope I cleared things up for you.  ;D

I don't know about your 2011's but the 13's are fricken amazing!!! Smoke one, and if it is awesome now, it will be even better in a year, but if it taste like shit, or like a 2007 trinnidad LE, just give them away. :bangin:

Smoke 'em up.  Enjoy.  Get some more.  Repeat.
