I'm in the process of planning my home humi setup and considering various options. My dilemma is whether or not I need temp control.
Currently my "tupperdors" are kept in a cabinet in the coolest possible area. I don't keep the AC on high in the summer (usually 24C/75F). Is it OK for them to be exposed to this kinds of temp or does it have to stay under 70?
How does everyone else manage? Surely not everyone has cooled systems or constantly blasts the AC?

I have a wineador keep it at 64 degrees. If you freeze I wouldn't worry about the 75 degree temp, but if it goes closer to 80 i would feel anxious.

You're in Canada? I wouldn't think high temperature would be a problem for you. Here in Oregon, my desktops & coolerdor (all kept in a large cabinet w/o temp control) are usually cooler inside than the ambient room temp. With recent 90 degree days (we only get a handful of these each year) and my AC at 72, my humidor temps have stayed in the 65-71 degree range (normally they are 62-68). I always freeze cigars before they go into that room.
