I've got a Gryphon Humidors 3 finger leather case if I'm heading out for the night (its got a nice built in cutter too) and if I'm heading out for the weekend I take my H.Uppman 6 count travel humidor.
The Uppman is great but its only downside is it can handle anything bigger than a robusto

3 & 5 finger ziplocks for daily use...a 36ct pelican for getogethers. Have tried many leather 2 & 3 cigar cases and all of them allowed the cigars to dry out...sometimes within a couple hours.

The gf's parents bought me a leather case as a gift. I'm sure its fairly inexpensive but it serves me well and gets plenty of comments. Holds 3 sticks and has a dark brown alligator type look. Also has a spot for the cutter.
I was a bit worried about the leather smell getting through sticks but I've had no issue, even after several days.

[/quote]I'm not trying to pretend to have all the answers, but I like to keep my cigar cases in my humidor. This serves me well in two ways. !) the smell of cedar, and tobacco permeates the leather, and 2) I believe the case gets charged with some of the humidification to keep my cigars happy. :nana:

Re: Cigar case? what do you use?
I've been using some 2x8 single baggies I snagged on eBay a few years ago and love them. I can discard them after I'm done, so there's no dealing with a bulky case once I've lit up (for the occasions where a case is too much; otherwise it's the Otterbox). Also decent protection for the many cigars I have which are not celloed. Cheap, effective, and very efficient - and much better for me than a bulky case in my coat pocket all night.
If I need more protection I'll just reuse an aluminum cigar tube.
