Trinidad LE 2007

Post by Cohim »

I have been babying that sucker for a while. It glistened in the humi like a diamond. I have smoked several cabs of fundidores, but never an LE. The temptation got the best of me. I finally snatched it out of the humi, carefully clipped off the tip, took the time to get something cold to accompany me on my tobacco journey. After testing the draw, and tasting the unlit flavors, I lit that sucker. It started off a bit grassy, no real flavor. It was missing that spicy hit I was used to from other fundidores. It lacked the aromas of cedar, and all of the other smells associated with this brand. It stayed flat till the last 3-3.5 inches. It picked up a bit in spice, and ceadery florals, but not much. I was disappointed.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I was actually surprised how good these were.  Usually when you can still find boxes of 07 ELs, I take that as they aren't very good.  But, I burned one and it had some nice strong/spicy flavors,  a bit one dimensional,  but still enjoyed it.

If I had a box, I would give the whole thing to both of y'all. LMAO!!!

Then again, I probably like some smokes that you don't like. Somebody is smoking these or they wouldn't make them. :gotcha:
