Humidifier options for desktop humidor

Post by forgop »

I have an oak desktop humidor that I haven't used in quite some time that I'll be selling to my cousin.  It used to have 2 Credo 70 units on the inside lid that went bad and curious what the best option is nowadays.  The lid already has 2 small magnets glued inside the top of the lid to hold whatever will be used.  I'm not familiar enough with beads to know what might be a good solution that wouldn't take a lot of maintenance

What say you?

Start with this in an 84

This is one of 20 possible solutions. :)
Be sure and make deposits in all areas of your life, because at some point you will need to make a withdraw. No deposits are more important than those made in relationships.

I know u say your not familiar with beads, but do some reasurch on one of many threads out there and go with beads ( I use heartfelt). They are as close to setting and forgetting that u can use that will keep a stable envoirnment. Without paying a lot. Just my two cents, many options

I have used heartfelt beads for years.  Work well with little maintenance.

Beads for me are the way to go. Easy to maintain and work excellent. Switching over to a custom built with a set and forget Temp and RH which will really make life easy, just fill the canisters up every few months.

Granted they are expensive as heck but worth it if you have a decent size collection and a lot money invested in your sticks.
