Have a safe holiday

Post by WadeFillingame »

With the Holidays upon us I would like to share a personal experience with my friends and loved ones about drinking and driving.

As you may know some of us have been known to have brushes with the authorities from time to time on the way home after a "social session" out with friends.  Well, this past weekend, I was out for an evening with friends and had several cocktails followed by a very nice red wine.  Although I was sure I was in charge of my faculties, I still had the sense to know that I may be slightly over the limit.

That's when I did something that I've never  done before - I took a cab home.

Sure enough, on the way home there was a  police road block; but, since it was a cab, they waved it past and I arrived home safely without incident.

This was a real surprise as I had never driven a cab before.  I don't know where I got it and, now that it's in my garage, I don't know what to do with it.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

LOL

A policeman pulls a driver over for swerving in and out of lanes on the highway. He tells the guy to blow into a breathalyzer.
"I can't do that, officer, I'm an asthmatic. I could get an asthma attack if I blow into that tube."

"OK, we'll just get a urine sample down at the station."
"Can't do that either, officer. I'm a diabetic. I could get low blood sugar if I pee in a cup."

"Alright, we could get a blood sample."
"Can't do that either, officer. I'm a hemophiliac. If I give blood, I could die."

"Fine then, just walk this white line."
"Can't do that either, officer."

"Why not?"
"Because I'm drunk."

Be safe, be humbled for what you have. Everything else is just static.
