MY HARD DRAW SOLUTION...
Decided to smoke a Cohiba today and reached for a Coronas Especiales. Most of them have smoked fine but on this one the draw was tight. I just don't like working hard at puffing on them and want clouds of smoke. I figured it would probably open up for the second half but it didn't. So I took out the cutter and clipped around another 3/8" off the bottom and immediately got loads of great smoke. The cigar didn't come undone either. This works for me about half the time and can turn frustration into happiness when it does. I think hey, what have I got to lose if I'm just getting tiny puffs anyway?
Then "there are four additional days of abstinence and constant cigar smoking until the initiate goes into a trance that takes him on a spirit journey to an encounter with the Supreme Bahana in the House of Tobacco Smoke." --Warao Shaman initiation, Venezuela
