I know everyone lists cigar lounges as cigar-friendly places... and, okay... but I thought that was a given...... so I thought I'd list some other favorite spots for you AZ folks!
Blue Martini in North Scottsdale (City North complex)... huge patio that's covered, shaded and misted, 4-7 DAILY happy hour, and so cigar-friendly, they even bring individual cigar ash-trays to the table!
Blue Moon Saloon in Peoria (right behind the Hooters on 83rd Ave)... smaller patio but friendly (and good-looking) waitresses, great food and the patio is also covered, shaded and misted... TVs on the patio here too.
Camarones in Glendale (by Cardinals' stadium)... big misted patio, cigar-friendly and really fantastic Mexican food!
Grapevine in Scottsdale (Old Towne)... they have an entire separate restaurant and bar upstairs that is completely cigar friendly. Great prices and great food as well... never had a single bad service experience here.
McDuffy's in Glendale (ONLY on Fight Nights!)... This place is a club where every 19 year old kid with a fake ID goes to grind and fight...... BUT... on Fight Nights, it's just a bar with really nice patios. Call the day BEFORE and you can pay 10 bucks to get the PRIVATE patio upstairs that INCLUDES a buffet and the TVs are on the patio for the fight!
There are a ton more (Lakeside Bar and Grille, Uncle Sam's, Rock Bottom Brewery, several spots on Mill Ave., KO's Bar, The Hideaway... a could go on for hours I'm sure...... if you're ever in town, drop me a line!).
Cheers!

Haha... well it's definitely the land of cigar smokers, brother! 56 cigar lounges here in the Valley... and MOST restaurants allow cigar smoking on the patio!
You ever make it out here... drop me a line!

Thanks for this info, I will have to check out the Blue Martini in North Scottsdale when I visit my parents over the holidays. Sounds like a great spot!

Long time since Id seen a reply here. The Heights Bar and Grill at 83rd/Lake Pleasant Pkwy has a decent covered patio with a bunch of TV's. Friendly to cigars, and a great place to sit back with a CC and watch MNF.
Also, Lakeside Bar and Grill at Lake Pleasant/Happy Valley has a patio that is cigar friendly.
Cheers.

Re: Arizona
Sounds like a great place. Just got back from visiting AZ and missed this spot. I'll take not to drop by on my next visit! :)
